Silence, vulnerability & the point of resistance
Lisa King
About this webinar
Short-term crisis responses and medication alone, are not the answer and never prove to be an economically viable approach to resolve transgenerational trauma and complex trauma. Understanding adult survivors’ lived experiences of pervasive, systemic shame is vital for informing widespread, systemic child sexual abuse prevention responses in addition to the development and delivery of targeted therapeutic interventions. In this webinar, Lisa King will explore the significant role of critical reflection combined with vulnerability, kindness, compassion, and the unlimited power of love in a revolutionary perspective for understanding and healing trauma. She will reveal how this powerful combination must be adopted, taught and promoted to our children and clients to protect them from, and to challenge the way things are, why they are the way they are, and to find another way for them to be.
